Cleartech Group are delighted to announce the opening of our new offices in North England.
Located in Doxford International Business Park, Sunderland, Cleartech have already commenced with the delivery of several projects in this area using local directly employed teams of HVAC Commissioning & Water Treatment engineers supported by our other operations teams from across the UK.
Our NE office will be headed up by Carl Mason who has recently joined Cleartech after 10 years working in the Oil and Gas Industry across the globe.
Carl started in the HVAC commissioning industry before leaving for the offshore oil and gas industry as a senior commissioning engineer.
He took on the role as Senior Commissioning Engineer & LEV Inspector / Verifier offshore for HVAC & Refrigeration Engineering where he worked on both offshore & onshore projects in the UK, Europe, Africa & Far East.
After moving on from there, in 2017, Carl took on a role as the sole commissioning engineer for Stork technical services in Baku, Azerbaijan where I managed the HVAC commissioning and LEV testing of 8 offshore installations for BP.
Carl was also responsible for training and assessing local trainees to engineer level.
In Carl’s last year of offshore work due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic he was looking for the opportunity to come back home if the right role became available. After some personal investigation, he soon found out that Cleartech where one of the fastest growing commissioning companies in Scotland, with a top reputation and glowing customer reviews. Carl was approached by Jim McGuigan, Cleartech Managing Director, and was immediately excited by his plans & enthusiasm for moving into England.
