As the only HVAC commissioning company in Scotland that are members of the Legionella Control Association, we also perform all water hygiene & disinfection services in conjunction with the LCA’s Code of Conduct.
All of our activities are dictated by current codes and guidelines as laid down by CIBSE, CSA and BSRIA.

Water Treatment
Cleartech can carryout water and pipework disinfection and chlorination across Scotland, England, Ireland and Wales. Our highly qualified engineers will carry out water system disinfection and all other water treatment services in accordance with British Standard BS 8558, HSG 274 and L8 ACOP.

Cleartech follow the Legionella Control Association Code of Conduct, and with a highly trained and competent team of City & Guilds qualified L8 Risk Assessors, Water Treatment Engineers and Technicians. Cleartech deliver L8 Compliance services to meet clients’ needs. Legionella bacteria is a waterborne pathogen often found in engineered water systems, for instance, in drinking water systems.
An improperly maintained water system can lead to a build up of rust, biofilms and other foreign materials within the water, as well as stagnated water.
