Legionella Awareness Training

Cleartech will deliver a fully accredited City & Guilds half day introduction to Legionnaires Disease and the Practicalities of complying with the requirements of L8 Approved Code of Practice.
We will provide a training sessions (max of 8 people)* covering Legionnaires’ diseases, and what L8 ACOP and HSG 274 Parts 1, 2 & 3 mean in a real-life setting. According to L8 ACOP guidance, anyone responsible for carrying out legionella control measures should be suitably informed, instructed and trained – and this course will help make sure those standards are applied.
Morning Session Itinerary

- Life cycle of the bacteria and the relationship with the built environment
- The pathogenic effect of the bacteria in humans
- Consequences of L8 ACOP, routine testing, record keeping
- Legionella Risk Assessments
- Microbiological testing

- Temperature Monitoring
