About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled Legionella Plumbing Engineer to join our growing compliance team, delivering remedial plumbing and water system compliance works across a wide range of sectors including housing associations, care homes, education, hospitality, and commercial environments.

This is a field-based role involving travel across Scotland and occasional travel to England. You’ll be responsible for carrying out remedial and installation works aligned with ACoP L8 and HSG274 guidance, ensuring safe and compliant water systems for our clients.

What you’ll be doing

  • Carry out Legionella remedial plumbing works including:
    • Deadleg removals and pipework alterations
    • TMV installations, replacements and servicing
    • Tank modifications and remedial works
    • Calorifier remedials and valve replacements
    • Expansion vessel replacements and system upgrades
  • Install and modify pipework to improve system compliance and reduce risk
  • Support risk assessment actions and implement technical recommendations
  • Diagnose faults and provide practical solutions on-site
  • Complete electronic job sheets, RAMS updates and compliance records
  • Identify further compliance risks and liaise with the office team regarding remedial opportunities
  • Follow company and site-specific health & safety procedures at all times
  • Represent the business professionally during client interactions

What we’re looking for

  • Experience as a plumber within Legionella compliance, water hygiene, or building services
  • Good understanding of ACoP L8 / HSG274 requirements
  • Experience with TMVs, calorifiers, storage tanks, and domestic water systems
  • Ability to work independently and manage daily workloads
  • Strong problem-solving and practical installation skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
  • Experience using digital compliance platforms such as ZetaSafe (preferred)
