Cleartech Group Ltd were engaged by Clackmannanshire Council to carry out Legionella risk assessments and Legionella compliance works on several of their properties throughout the area. These properties include schools, care homes, leisure centres, offices, depots, cemeteries and sports pavillions.

Project overview

Scope of Works:

  • L8 ACOP Legionella Risk Assessments
  • L8 ACOP Monitoring and Water Sampling
  • Shower head disinfections
  • Hot and Cold Water System disinfection works to BS8558 and L8 ACOP
  • TMV installation and maintenance
  • Plumbing and rectification works – Dead leg removal
  • Cold Water Storage tank replacement and removal

Cleartech Group Ltd first established a contract with Clackmannanshire Council in 2006 and have been completing L8 Compliance works on several of their properties ever since. For each of the properties that we visit, we engage the site managers directly in the planning and carrying out of all the tasks to guarantee that their happy with regime and also to ensure that every potential risk on the site is being properly inspected. If our water hygiene engineers do uncover any high risk situations then these are communicated directly to the council FM Department to highlight the priority and the actions that now need to be taken.
